Challenge Rules to Keep Teams on TaskRead below for the Official Rules & Regulations. |
Team Eligibility
As long as all team member are currently-enrolled graduate students, and at least one member of the team either already has an MBA, is currently enrolled as an MBA student, or is enrolled in another Business-Focused Graduate-Level Program (e.g MA, MS), your team is eligible.
Our goal is to allow MBA students and other Business-Focused Graduate-Level students of diverce talents and backgrounds to join forces and lead revolutionary innovations that result in global and sustainable prosperity—economically, socially, and environmentally.
We welcome all students from any MBA or other Business-Focused Graduate-Level Programs from top universities around the world. Students may be enrolled in full-time, part-time, online, or executive programs, or even be on an internship at the time of participation.
Team Types
We encourage students to form teams with diversity among peers, whether in the same zipcode, program of study, university, or half-way across the globe.
- Core Team — Students from the same graduate degree program in the same university (e.g. a team of MBA students from Thunderbird)
- Cross-Functional Team — Students from different graduate degree programs but the same university (e.g. a team of two MBA students from MIT and two Ph.D. students in Computer Science from MIT)
- Virtual Team — Students from a graduate degree program from different universities (e.g. a team of two MS students in Computer Science from MIT and two MBA students from Thunderbird)
Almost any combination works as long as at least one member of the team either already has an MBA, is currently enrolled as an MBA student, or is enrolled in another Business-Focused Graduate-Level Program.
Due to the online nature of the Online Round, every combination should work, as long as each team member has Internet access.
If your team makes it to the Final Round, each team member will meet at the Thunderbird Campus in Glendale Arizona.
